Facilitator
Rosie is an enthusiastic and experienced music practitioner who works with children and adults at all ability levels with varying needs, including those with complex access requirements and autistic spectrum condition.

Since joining Live Music Now with The Dovetail Trio in 2015, Rosie has performed interactive concerts at dozens of diverse SEND schools across the country. More recently she has delivered engaging progressive workshops and music sessions at both primary and secondary SEND schools, day centres for adults with additional needs and specialist schools for students with SEMH needs.

Fun and educational, these sessions result in musical achievements such as writing new songs, recording music and live performances, as well as social ones: increased concentration, focus, confidence and communication skills. Musical activities have also improved dexterity in some students and even a greater ability to manage emotions in others.

More recently Rosie has been delivering interactive music sessions via Zoom for children and young adults with additional needs as well as creating digital content tailored to SEND schools. Rosie also facilitates music sessions for Early Years children with Grimm & Co., works as a Musician in Healthcare at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and has recently completed a PGCert in Music and Children with Special Needs & Abilities: Sounds of Intent.
